Get ready! This year's Book Fair is going to be epic! We've turned up the volume with more fun, more choices and more excitement, so kids will arrive curious and leave bolder, prouder, and stronger than ever before. Every dollar you spend will benefit our school directly.
As part of their novel study of Hatchet, by Gary Paulson, fourth grade students in Mrs. Banton’s and Mrs. Sharon Aldridge’s classes participated in a brainstorming activity on surviving in the wilderness. Upon completion of the classic novel, students will express their understanding of the story by creating a survival guide (based on the lessons Brian, the main character in the story, learns) describing the types of animals and difficult situations Brian encounters and how to deal with each.
